Introducing the New Rich Tone Music Web Site

To all our customers and web site visitors.

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our brand new website!

You’ll find all the same exciting second hand gear, a fantastic selection of brand new stock and our individually pictured Guitar Gallery plus much more – all this with a fresh new look.

Starting this evening, you may notice some outage/disruption to our web site that could limit your ability to visit our site while it is being switched over.

Please bear with us, this will be resolved quickly!

Initial Switchover

Starting this evening (27/10/2021), you may notice some outage/disruption to our web site that could limit your ability to visit our site. While our new site is being switched live, some customers may still reach the old site and/or a mixture of the old/new site while the DNS records update to your browser.

Clearing your browser cache and refreshing may help in this instance, but the updates could take a few hours to fully resolve in your browser.

The Reason For Change

The site updates will move our platform to a much more modern infrastructure that will allow us to roll out new ideas to customers much more quickly than we are able to do right now. Moreover, the platform brings with it best in class features and usability across all devices that we were keen to bring to our customer base.

What's Changing?
  • The front end display of the site will be significantly different, so for our regulars visitors, this will be a striking change.
  • One of the areas receiving a major overhaul is the customer account page, where registered users will now have a functioning Wish List facility, with the ability to share this with others (always handy for dropping hints!!).
  • As we are starting with a clean slate, and being mindful of data retention/GDPR your existing Rich Tone Music log in will no longer work!
    You will need to create a fresh log in here https://richtonemusic.co.uk/login.php?action=crea... if you want to manage your address, stored payment methods, wish lists etc. You can of course check out as a guest as normal as well.
    Existing customers - don't worry, our order processing system is staying the same and we will be managing open orders as normal. Sadly, previous order history will no longer be available in your Rich Tone Music account and will start fresh on the new system.
    Please be assured that all past order data is secure and if you would like to request any previous order invoices etc, please just contact us at sales@richtonemusic.co.uk.
  • You will notice that the search engine on the site has undergone a significant upgrade, with many more granular ways to locate your chosen products, or discover new ones!
  • Checkout has been streamlined massively to ensure the smoothest checkout process, with saved payment methods.
The Future

We will be constantly monitoring in the coming days for any issues...if there's any you think we've missed. Please let us know. 

We have some BIG Announcements lined up before Christmas and can't wait to show you what we've got in store!!
