Ovations Mod TX 4-String Bass features a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing for superior note definition. Its classic mid depth, cutaway, composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone, and is comfortable to hold and play. Multi port soundholes on the bass-string side of the instrument enhance lower-frequency projection. This bass also features a satin-finished maple neck and a black-stained pau ferro fretboard. A full 34 scale delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instruments entire range. With its onboard compressor, both the OP-Pro preamp and the OCP-1K pickup provide control over the attack and sustain of every note. Case not included.
