    Epiphone EJ200CE Electro Acoustic Guitar - Ebony - EJ200

Nice instrument, plays well. Obviously checked by the supplier, prior to despatch arrived in tune with a set of tens. Literally out of the box, plugged in and played within 5 minutes of its arrival. Each pickup has its own Eq arrangement in the form of a single pot for each pickup which increases bass going from middle anticlockwise, and more bright clockwise. It also has a balance pot for both pickups which is not very convincing. It is a well made economy guitar and sounds really nice through my Laney A duo acoustic amp.

Beautiful guitar, great price, great service. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and they were mixed but having dealt with RichTone I have to say they really did offer great customer service. Communicated via email and on the phone and I was very satisfied with the result. I was notified that the guitar had a blemish...Tom sent me pics and I decided to buy...blemish hardly noticeable and I got a great price! Guitar was delivered the next day along with free strings and strap...happy customer. I would definitely consider buying again from these guys.

    Epiphone EJ200CE Electro Acoustic Guitar - Ebony - EJ200

Bought the Epiphone EJ200SCE in Black just after Christmas in the Rich Tone sale. I had done a lot of research and knew this was the guitar I wanted to upgrade to. The order was delayed slightly, they said because of problems with a truck!! It was over the New Year as delivery was due on January 2nd. Guitar arrived on January 3rd and to be fair Rich Tone/DPD kept me updated on progress all the way. I opted for the Black model as it was such a bargain, 36% of the RRP!But as usual you are always apprehensive before opening the box and actually getting down to trying it out. I shouldn't have been worried. Read all the paperwork that came with it which to be honest is very generic for the guitar. The booklet for the Esonic2 preamp and pickups is more detailed. Used the inbuilt tuner on the Esonic2 to tune it up and off I went. Well, having used a very good but inferior guitar for about 17 years I was astonished at the sheer quality of the sound straight out the box. The tone is clean and clear. The action on the guitar is perfect and feels very comfortable without any adjustment. I only have a small amp for my electric guitar but when I plugged it in and played about with the Esonic2 the possibilities seem endless. I have seen a number of reviews and threads about the Esonic2 failing and repair/backup not being what was promised. But I have decided to take a punt on this and cross that bridge if and when it arises. However, it is important to be aware of it before you buy. I am very much still a novice guitar player but this instrument certainly makes you want to play more. In terms of the guitars looks I did fancy the Vintage Sunburst version but couldn't pass on the bargain price for the Black one. However I have to say the black model is very impressive in real life. A beautiful black glossy finish. The pearloid inlays in the neck are a lovely touch and, from what I can see very well fitted, not any filler that I can see as mentioned in other reviews. The iconic pick guard is a deep red/wine colour and compliments the glossy black finish very well. The gold grover tuners are excellent and allow for the finest of tuning for the strings. The bridge is also a beautiful finish and the bone saddle and nut appear to allow for perfect tuning and play. The finish round the sound hole is also perfect. This is all set off with a cream inlay all around the body and neck. I got an Ernie Ball Plush microfiber duster to keep it clean and just rub it down with that after pIaying and it keeps it free from finger and palm marks and looking pristine. I have to say it looks and feels fantastic. To sum up, for the money I have paid for this guitar I have possibly got myself the bargain of the century. Even if I had paid full price it would have been worth it. The service from Rich Tone, delivery and the guitar itself deserve a 10 out of 10. I don't have much knowledge of other guitars to make comparisons. Nonetheless I would have no hesitation in recommending this guitar to anyone, its an absolute joy to own and play.

Amazing guitar for the money. If your like me and you want a good acoustic but don't want to spend Martin money buy this. The action is a kin to an electric guitar and the neck is slim aswell. It sounds fantastic and belts out low end warmth. Rich tone have never let me down I've bought stuff in the past and always go back.
