The Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the most iconic electric guitars of all time, and has become an industry "Standard" to the point where any professional guitarist would have one in their collection for their unique sound and performance.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard normally comes in a couple of flavours. The 50s neck models are based around the late 50s neck profile which considered to be a full C shape. This is considered to be the more traditional size and feel neck. It generally comes in the more traditional colours of Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Tobacco Sunburst, and the venerable Gold Top. In contrast the 60s Neck version, represents a slightly more skinny and modern neck carve as the neck shapes transitioned through 1960 originally. They normally come in Bourbon Burst, Iced Tea and Unburst finishes as standard. All Les Paul Standards come with the official Gibson Hard Case.
