Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s - Vintage Sunburst
The new Epiphone Inspired By Gibson Collection proudly presents the Les Paul Standard 50s. These new Epiphone Les Pauls are packed full of authentic features that guitarists love such as Mahogany Bodys with Maple Caps - AAA veneer on top of the maple caps for figured top models. The necks on the 50s models are the renowned 59 carve, rounded medium C. Not too fat, not super thin. In addition, the necks are now a Long Tenon join which aids wood/wood contact between neck and body giving the guitars more resonance overall. This used to be a feature on USA custom shop made guitars, let alone Epiphone models.
In terms of electronics, you get the excellent Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers with era appropriate wiring and CTS pots, allow guitarists to achieve authentic Les Paul tones without having to break the bank. Additional thought has been put into the feel of the new 50s Les Paul guitars also, with rolled fingerboard edges to give the neck a lovely, "played in" quality. With new Vintage Deluxe Tuners, and a Graph Tech NuBone nut, the Les Paul Standard 50s will stay in tune and play great.
