While the Gretsch Brand originated in 1883, most guitarists will be familiar with Gretsch guitars of the mid-50s with famous models such as the 6120 Nashville, Duo Jet and White Falcon becoming mainstays of the Gretsch guitar line up until present day. Almost synonymous with Gretsch guitars is the legend that is Chet Atkins who has played a wide range of Gretsch guitars, but notably his Country Gentleman model. Given the USA-centric nature of the brand, the UK Vintage Gretsch market is somewhat undersupplied compared to Fender and Gibson, with vintage Gretsch Guitars commanding healthy prices. If you have a vintage Gretsch to sell, or are looking to buy a Gretsch guitar, our friendly team are always happy to help.
