Job Vacancy : Guitar Tech

Salary: National Living Wage       Start Date: Immediate

This is an excellent opportunity to join Rich Tone Music, a business which specialises in guitars and amplification retailing.

The company seeks an individual to join the Service Dept with experience of guitar repairs and servicing. 

Your primary role will be to aid the dispatch of instruments sold in our online store.

This will include cleaning and servicing using basic setup and re stringing skills. 

Your skills should also include adjusting truss rods, intonation and set saddle height to ensure they play well and setting up locking tremolo systems. Additional skills such as fret levelling and replacing pickups, pots and components would also be useful. Repair knowledge of other areas of MI fields including amps, pedals and keyboards would also be an advantage as is good product knowledge and broad understanding of music equipment.

You will also possess the following skills:        

• Reliability and excellent communication and organisational skills - Ability to manage your own workload and deliver in a timely way.

• Some experience of customer service - An ability to understand and identify customer needs and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
