    Gibson les Paul Dc Bass

Posted by Unknown on 26th Jul 2022

overall, a very nice bass to play. The short scale makes things very easy to play, it's well built, and for a Gibson, is very good value for money. It basically sounds like a precision bass, and the split coil cut's the mid range when it's engaged. The only down sides are that the bridge is notoriously awkward to set up, and the Humbucker has been loose on both of the basses I purchased from different suppliers. It was a simple matter of replacing the screws with larger longer ones. in order to hold the pick up more securely, but Gibson should have made a better job of it on these bases. overall though, I would recommend this bass to anyone.
