JIMS 800 Preamp

The TC Electronic JIMS 800 Preamp is an amp-style preamp pedal designed to capture the punchy, high-gain British rock tones associated with iconic 1980s valve amplifiers. Introduced as part of TC Electronic’s amp-inspired pedal range, it delivers tight rhythm sounds, cutting lead tones and strong midrange presence, making it ideal for classic and hard rock styles. Suitable for direct recording, pedal-based rigs or driving a clean amplifier, the JIMS 800 Preamp remains a popular option on the second hand market for players seeking powerful British-style distortion in a compact format.
