The Taylor 200 Series was first introduced in the early 2000s as a step up within the Taylor acoustic line-up, offering enhanced appointments and tonal refinement while maintaining accessible pricing. Typically featuring a solid spruce top with layered exotic wood back and sides, the 200 Series delivers bright clarity, strong projection and the smooth playability for which Taylor is known, making it popular with gigging musicians and developing players alike.
