American Traditional

The Fender American Traditional Stratocaster Series was introduced in the summer of 1999 and was in production until 2000. Often referred to as a hybrid series, these guitars were assembled in Fender's USA factory using parts sourced from Mexico and East Asia.

The American Traditional Stratocaster was available in Lake Placid Blue, Black, Torino Red, and Arctic White finishes. While relatively few listings are found in this section, the American Traditional Stratocaster holds unique appeal to avid collectors and players seeking value for money performance.

However, unlike fully American-made Fender Stratocasters such as the American Standard Strat and the American Deluxe Strat, the American Traditional Stratocaster doesn't command the same premiums.
