SS300 Artstar Solid Top
The Ibanez SS300 Artstar Solid Top is a premium hollow body electric guitar from the respected Artstar series, designed to deliver authentic archtop tone with enhanced acoustic resonance and refined craftsmanship. Produced during the golden era of Japanese-made Ibanez jazz instruments, the SS300 typically features a solid spruce top paired with flamed maple back and sides, a set-in multi-piece neck and a floating humbucker mounted at the neck position to preserve the guitar’s natural acoustic character. The solid top construction provides greater dynamic response, projection and tonal complexity than laminated alternatives, making the SS300 particularly appealing to jazz, swing and chord-melody players. Known for its warm, woody voice, articulate clarity and elegant appointments, the SS300 Artstar Solid Top remains a highly regarded instrument among serious musicians and collectors. On the second hand market, it is a sought-after used Ibanez archtop guitar valued for its premium Japanese craftsmanship, sophisticated tone and rarity. Looking to sell?
