It is with mixed emotions we are announcing that after over 35 years in the Music retail business The Man, the Legend, our Guru of all knowledge that is guitar, Pod will be leaving us officially at the end of April to enjoy the delights of his French residence and warmer climates. Whilst Pod will most likely be coming back to see us and may help us out from time to time he will officially leave at the end of April. 

We know many of you will want to wish Pod all the best for the future personally and he will be working throughout April on Monday, Tuesday , Friday and Saturdays so please feel free to come and see him before he officially leaves.

Over the years Pod has attained an almost legendary status both as an accomplished musician and performer and as a seemingly bottomless source of knowledge for all things Guitar, amongst many other things. It has been a true delight for me personally to work with Pod again at Rich Tone Music having started my career with him back in the early 90s at Carlsbro Retail, latterly Academy of Sound where Pod worked for 10 years before moving to Electro Music in Doncaster, where he worked for 17 years, until joining us here at Rich Tone Music 8 years ago. 

Pod has always been great fun to be around and as well as being a great friend and work colleague he has helped Rich Tone Music grow and develop over the years into the business it is today. I know that I speak for all our staff and customers when I say he will be missed but he has assured us he won’t be a stranger so don’t be surprised if you see him around from time to time.
